Reach by Train

Local trains will connect Chennai to all its constituent parts. Travelling through a local train is an easy option for you to reach Marina beach. Reach the Central railway station of Chennai. Then, you have to reach the Park station from where you can frequently get local trains for the Beach Station. After reaching the beach railway station, you can easily reach the Marina Beach by crossing a road.

Reach from Chennai Airport

If you want to reach Marina beach from Meenambakkam Airport of Chennai, then get out of the Airport, and reach the Meenambakkam railway station by crossing the road. Then, get a train to the Central railway station and then follow the route as said above.

Best Time to Visit Marina beach?

The beach is open for the tourist all around the year. It remains open on all the days of the week. The best time to enjoy the holidays at the Marina beach is during the winter months of November – February. The weather during these months is excellent and best for you to enjoy your holidays at the beach.

Try to reach the beach early in the morning hours of the day before the weather gets too humid. Carry sunscreens and wear comfortable clothes. You don’t need to carry extra clothes as swimming is not allowed on the beach due to strong undercurrent.
