Sports Photography Cell Phone Style

Now that the big game has been locked in, anyone attending the Super Bowl in two weeks is going to want to capture the moment. Depending on your phone, you might be better equipped than you think.

On February 13th in Los Angeles, the Bengals will be taking on the Rams in a game nobody saw coming. You can check out the NFL odds here.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G

Equipped with the 3x telephoto lens and 10x telephoto lens, this phone will take fantastic photos no matter where you are sitting. Now the phone does come with a bit of a price tag, and if you’re looking to use this as your primary camera, you will need the more expensive version with 256/512GB storage if you want to record 8K/4K video.

With the new age of social influencers, this camera is almost a go-to for the best quality Instagram/Snapchat stories you can get. The quality will be downgraded a bit, but that’s just the nature of these social platforms.

iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max

For simplicity, the iPhone is always a go-to and typically, the phone you will see around most. To be able to swipe up and take fantastic 4k videos/photos is a nice feature for anyone looking to capture the moment.

With an improved Portrait mode, the return of ProRAW, and a tremendous point-and-shoot experience, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max are photography beasts.

Any iPhone also can produce outstanding photos, allowing you to zoom out and capture more content in its ultra-wide lens.

Whatever type of shot you’re aiming for, the iPhone 13 Pro or Pro Max should be able to do it justice.

Google Pixel 6 Pro

Google has always taken pride in putting out a phone with great camera capability, just like their Pixel 5. This phone can take excellent photos with good detail and colors that are true to life. This phone is a game-changer for pictures that will last a lifetime.

However, this phone does have some cool features not all other phones have. It comes with a Magic Eraser that can remove unwanted aspects from photos, Motion mode for long exposure shots, and Real Tone, which more accurately captures people of color’s skin tones.

All in all, it makes for a cool setup.

Ticket pricing

Now, of course, to take any of these phones into the stadium come game time, you will have to find a way in first. Tickets will probably be your biggest expense the whole weekend. By no surprise, the first Super Bowl to ever kickoff in So-Fi Stadium is coming with a price tag.

Right now, Super Bowl tickets are going for $5,000.00 plus, and anywhere close to the field is pretty much the same as buying a car. You’re looking at $30,000.00.

But you can’t put a price tag on experiences, and who knows, lock in some bets, and everything could be taken care of.

Super Bowl matchup

Led by Mathew Stafford, this Rams team is set up beautifully for another run at the coveted Lombardi trophy. The additions of Odell Beckham Jr and Von Miller at the deadline are coming to fruition now as the two have helped them tremendously this postseason.

OBJ, in fact, almost has more touchdowns since joining the Rams than he did in his whole tenure with the Cleveland Browns. It’s going to all come down to the defense. Stafford and Kupp should have no problem putting up points if they can hold up their end of the bargain.

On the other hand, the Bengals seem to be above their weight class but have been proving everyone wrong since day one. It looks like America’s son Joe Burrow has ice in his veins and is ready for anything.

After their comeback victory down 21-3 to the Cheifs, they are also legit contenders.
