Who and What to Watch For Come February 13th In Los Angeles

Los Angeles

The biggest mistake anybody can make is accidentally making plans on Superbowl Sunday unless, of course, you are traveling to the sunny region of Los Angeles. If that’s the case, you found the right spot.

There are a lot of things to keep in mind when going to the game. Catching up on players is almost a must, so you know what’s going on when the big moment comes. Stay up to date on those NFL stats.

Before we get into some recommended spots in Los Angeles, it’s probably best to look at the remaining teams vying for their place in this year’s Super Bowl.

San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers are this year’s Cinderella story, and Deebo Samuel is leading the way for this team. Kyle Shanahan, 49ers head coach, has been huge this postseason, scheming up many plays for wideout Deebo Samuel, putting him in motion when the defense least expects it.

Although Jimmy Garoppolo hasn’t put up the greatest numbers, he is still getting the most important stat: A win. However, there have been plenty of third-down conversions out of the quarterback where he made spectacular plays to keep his team on the field.

Look for George Kittle to be a huge part of this team going forward. They will need their top target to come up huge if they want to upset the Rams.

Los Angeles Rams

Led by Mathew Stafford, this Rams team is set up beautifully for another run at the coveted Lombardi trophy. The additions of Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller at the deadline are coming to fruition now as the two have helped them tremendously this postseason.

OBJ, in fact, has more touchdowns since joining the Rams than he did in his whole tenure with the Cleveland Browns. It’s going to all come down to the defense. Stafford and Kupp should have no problem putting up points if they can hold up their end of the bargain.

Kansas City Chiefs

Football fans probably still haven’t recovered from that amazing Sunday night thriller last week that saw the Chiefs edge out the Bills by the slimmest of margins.

This Chiefs squad looks to be running on all cylinders. It’s hard to imagine a team getting in their way at this point if Patrick Mahomes can put up another huge game with his usual favorites, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.

The pair was unstoppable down the stretch, too, combining for almost 250 yards and two scores against a tired Bills defense.

Cincinnati Bengals

Last but not least, the Bengals, who stud second-year quarterback Joe Burrow, has led. It seems like the general consensus is this team is lucky to be where they are and have already accomplished a lot this season.

I’m sure Burrow and his squad are not taking that lightly and are probably locked and loaded for Sunday’s matchup with Kansas City. It will be interesting to see how Chase and Burrow look in the biggest game of their lives, besides the national championship.

Things to do in Los Angeles

Now obviously, L.A is going to be a hot destination for any football fan come February 13th, whether your team is in it or they aren’t. Every year the host city sets up tons of things to do throughout the city in the weeks leading up to the big game, and usually, your favorite player will show up somewhere along the line.

When it comes to traveling, stuff can get pretty expensive pretty fast. Just scanning over the hotel prices, you might want to make the smart decision and book now if you have not yet.

Food options in the city are endless. They have anything and everything. It ranges from places like Bavel, one of the top-rated Israeli restaurants in the state. All the way to a west coast staple In-N-Out, where you can get burgers as big as you could imagine.

When your mind isn’t on football or betting, there are also some great sights to see around the city of Los Angeles. Universal Studios Hollywood seems like everyone’s top choice when going there.

When going, you can see roller-coasters themed after your favorite shows and even get a chance to see the real sets of movies like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, The Walking Dead, The Simpsons, Transformers, Jurassic World were filmed.

Now you can’t forget about Hollywood when going to Los Angeles, but if you make your way to Universal Studios, Hollywood Boulevard is only a skip hop and jump away.
