While there are the popular and obvious options such as the bank exams (IBPS PO, SBI PO, SBI Clerk, RBI Assistant, etc.), the competition is also ruthless which makes it very challenging. In this article, we will go over the lesser-known yet lucrative & easy to secure options.

With potential career paths for engineers, high school, and college pass outs, there is something for everyone in this article.

SSC Stenographer Recruitment:

While the SSC CGL, SSC CHSL exams conducted by the Staff Selection Commission are very well known the SSC Stenographer recruitment is an enterprising opportunity for those looking to start their career in the Government sector. This nation-wide exam/selection process is conducted every year by the SSC to pick talented individuals for Grade D and Grade C job profiles across branches, departments, offices in the Indian Government. Any candidate who has just completed 12th grade or an equivalent can appear for this recruitment process.

The salary is very competitive for candidates with higher secondary education. LIC AAO & AE Recruitment

India’s largest insurance company, the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), which continues to command a monopoly in the insurance sector recruits Assistant Administrative officers (AAO) and Asst. Engineers (AE) periodically through this process. The Asst. Administrative Officers are hired for Legal, Chartered Accountant, Actuarial, Information Technology (IT), and Rajbhasha roles.

The eligibility criteria varies based on the specialized roles you are aspiring for. A LIC AAO makes INR 62,000 on average and Asst. Engineers in LIC get about INR 57,000. An engineering degree is a must for candidates planning to appear for the LIC AE recruitment.  The primary eligibility criteria for the LIC AAO recruitment is a valid undergraduate/postgraduate degree from a recognized University/college. BSNL JE Recruitment

If you wanted an engineering job in a reputed company then this is an opportunity to cease. Even during the pandemic, there are over 2000 junior engineer vacancies at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited aka BSNL. However, as the name suggests this is an opportunity limited to engineering graduates. Jr. Engineers at BSNL enjoy a salary of up to INR 40,000. Job security is a huge plus point for aspiring engineers. With job losses across the industry due to the pandemic and over 60% of the 9 lakh engineers who graduate every year going unemployed, this is a breath of fresh air.
